R Connections offers an experiential approach to team building, leadership, and wellness development by partnering with horses. Yes, horses (working on the ground, no riding or horse experience needed)!
Horses are the ultimate addition to unforgettable learning – they simply provide honest, immediate, and unbiased responses to individual and group energy, intention, actions, and body language. Together we can meet your learning objectives, through a series of objectively-driven group-based activities. Quite simply, the horse does the teaching, and our certified facilitators offer explanations and provide guidance as participants partner with the horses to accomplish the objective together.

I personally want to welcome you to the R Connections website where we give you a glimpse of the power of Equine Assisted Learning, partnering with horses to bring learning to life!
Over the last thirty years I have been in leadership roles where the opportunities, challenges and personalities were constantly changing. As a successful leader, I had to learn how to assess and adapt in real time, like I do working with my horses in the arena. Through Equine Assisted Learning you can parallel the life skills learned in the arena and how they relate to the life skills we need at work and home. How we lead a horse is truly a reflection of how we lead others.

How We Work

Customize Your Experience
Book a call or meeting to discuss your requirements, goals, outcomes, and any questions regarding the
services that are provided by R Connections. Following our discussion, we will customize and develop an
Equine Assisted Learning experience with proposed activities, a tentative agenda, and costs. Once
booked, we will send out a confirmation and additional details for your R Connections experience.

Safety and Delivery
Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome from your two and four legged hosts, as well as a brief
tour our facility. We will discuss safety protocols, program delivery, and goals. It is our mission to ensure
that all participants have an enjoyable, safe, and engaging experience. The objective based delivery is
where the magic happens - we partner with horses to bring learning to life!

Recap & Reflection
Once the arena time is over, we will return to the meeting area and debrief our experiences, highlighting
our a-ha moments and key takeaways. Together we will identify what was learned and how your
learning experiences are transferrable into everyday life, both at work and at home. We will then
conclude our program, say our farewells to the horses, and look forward to the next time we are
together.
